Korean Journal of Public Administration is Korea's oldest professional journal on public administration and policy studies. Since its inaugural edition in 1962, the journal has been published semiannually up till 2001 and quarterly since then. In 2005, the journal was registered with the Korea Research Foundation, providing the journal a reputation for excellence. With a history of over 40 years, the journal has been leading reforms in Korea's policy paradigms. It is credited as Korea's most prestigious professional journal in the domestic public administrative academics and is also highly recognized abroad.
Korean Journal of Public Administration is not only for the professors and students of the Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University but for all scholars and practitioners of public policy and public administration. The purpose of the journal is to disseminate various theories of public administration and public policy and to upscale the quality of administrative research.
