The course focuses on comprehensive understanding of research methods for social sciences and limitations of quantitative methods. The course will cover how to setup research questions and hypotheses, collecting data, analysing and testing data, and report writing. During the course, students will develop research proposals and present in the classroom for further discussion.

  • This course analyzes the nature and behavior of public enterprises using public economics theory; studies the effects that public enterprises have on the national economy and economic development; and investigates the proper policy means in using public enterprises for national development goals. Throughout this course, the lectures will cover various topics such as pooling of policy which defines the relationships between government and public enterprises; corporate governance, price management, management evaluation, government regulation such as anti-trust laws of public enterprises; and the public enterprise demands toward the government. The course will also include in-depth discussions on management innovation systems and strategies as well as privatization issues.

While the scope of themes includes the management of organizational goals, strategies, environment, structural elements, resources, and innovation, the primary focus will be on human resource management in public enterprises.

Financial Analysis and Budget Accounting
